As a global community, it is our responsibility to ensure that Gundam Evolution remains accessible and compliant with regulations across all regions. Recently, we identified a potential compliance issue regarding Gundam Barbatos’s melee weapon—one that we can no longer ignore.

Under UK law, carrying a blade exceeding three inches is subject to strict regulation. While this may seem like a reasonable limit for most individuals, it has come to our attention that Barbatos’s mace might slightly exceed this threshold. Given that Barbatos itself stands at approximately 60 feet tall, we can only assume that its signature weapon measures well beyond the allowable range. Even if the mace as a whole does not fall under these restrictions, we assume each individual spike probably exceeds the allowable threshold.

In response, and to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to compliance, we are implementing an immediate adjustment. Effective today, Barbatos will be receiving a new weapon that complies with UK regulations.

This change ensures that our friends in the UK can continue to participate in Gundam Evolution with us without fear of legal ramifications.

Pilots, especially those in the UK seeking compliance, that log in now will see the new weapon available in their gift box.
